Systems Biology

About the course

'Systems Biology' ('Systembiologie', 551-0324-00L) is offered as a selectable concept course of the biology bachelor curriculum. It is taught in the fifth semester for 4 hours weekly and is attended by around 20 students. The course is taught by Prof. Uwe Sauer, Prof. Ruedi Aebersold, Prof. Beat Christen, Prof. Manfred Claassen, and Prof. Ernst Hafen.

CAL manages this course, formulated course objectives together with the lecturers, created the script that accompanies the lecture and designed exercises. We also design and conduct the exam.
