About us

We support lecturers in restructuring courses and implementing interactive teaching methods. To that end, we, a team of trained biologists, design and create teaching material, conduct analyses of learning processes, and provide support for the Moodle platform. To gain insight into our work check out some selected example courses.

The core CAL team is composed of Katja Köhler and Ulrich Genick, both lecturers at D-BIOL and Florin Gegenschatz. The team gets additional support from Melina Eisenring and several student teaching assistants. A group of selected professors and educational specialists from ETH serve as advisory board for CAL.
